#14 EASTER SUNDAY & SPRING/SUMMER HIGHLIGHTS

Spring started just a few weeks ago... and I'm already feeling that Summer '17 is gonna be mean. Easter hasn't been a big thing in my family since my siblings and I grew older, which makes me sad because it's one of the happiest holidays.. and it welcomes Spring. When I have kids in the future, I want to make Easter a priority no matter how old they grow up to be!

Anyway, this weekend was a much needed stress relieving break. I went hiking with some friends from my church at Bear Mountain. Funny thing is that I'm going to be going back in 2 weeks with my girlfriends. It was my first time hiking here and everyone kept telling me that it's hard. It really wasn't at all! I enjoyed the climbing and stairs. As a matter of fact - I felt.. and still feel AMAZING 8) !

There was one point where I slipped on the way back down and landed on my ankle! But all was good - I was just extra cautious going the rest of the way back down. I passed out on the entire ride back home.

Easter Sunday was a beautiful 80 degree weather! I finally broke into one of my new 3 shoes that I impulsively bought last Friday. I was walking by Payless and saw the cutest shoes on display and I had to go in to JUST check.. but I guess I lost control!

Spring/Summer Highlights!!

So I already mentioned that I'll be revisiting Bear Mountain in 2 weeks with my girlfriends to celebrate one of their birthdays. We'll also be celebrating it this Friday which will be her actual birthday date - so I'm excited for that.

Following that.. I bought tickets to see Cash Cash in May. I saw them only once at Ezoo... and they are one of my favorite DJ's. I missed them last time when they were playing on a same night as 3LAU because my friends wanted to see him more. :(

So some extremely exciting news - my company will be flying me out to Vegas this June for a 5-day conference. I helped my manager market this event for the past few months already and it's still hasn't really hit me that I'll be flying for the first time for business. I'm both excited and nervous! I'm not so sure what to expect, but sometimes it's best to just go into things that way.

This July, my family and I will be cruising to Puerto Rico!! Ideally, I'll be flying to Miami a day or two early because the boat docks from there on a Sunday... so the cruise is from a Sunday to a Sunday. TBH, ever since my last cruise to Alaska, I don't think any other experience can top that. But, I'm excited to get a tan... and I guess "fall off the map."
